COURSE INTRODUCTION

Cognos Contributor Overview is a one day workshop designed to provide attendees with an understanding of how Contributor web applications are designed, built and deployed from Planning Analyst models. It equips them with the knowledge and ability to perform basic administrative tasks on existing Contributor applications.

  • Editing application settings.
  • Modifying eLists, Users and Rights.
  • Operating Go To Production and Previewing an application.

  • Identifying and re-setting workflow states.
  • The roles of a Planner, Reviewer and Administrator.
  • Performing a Synchronize with Analyst.

INTENDED AUDIENCE

Users who need to understand the basic administrative tasks of IBM Cognos Contributor applications, but who are unlikely to be involved in the set up or on-going development of complex applications.

Attendance at an IBM Cognos Planning Analyst Overview course.
